As well as being a professional cellist Dr George Kennaway has a wide range of musical interests, including the music of the Balkan states, historical performance practice and opera history and analysis. He is currently Director of Music at the University of Hull and Visiting Research Fellow at the Universities of Huddersfield and Leeds.
